London is the newest arrival from Dena Designs. It features a palette of soft blues, rich chocolate, and just the right amount of chartreuse and pink to make it all pop. The painted brush strokes give the collection a dreamy, delicate visual texture. Lovely. Diana pulled some solids to match: Kona Cotton Dusty Blue, Kona Cotton Caribbean, Free Spirit Designer Solids Chocolate, and Free Spirit Designer Solids Chatreuse. London is available in yardage and as a Fat Quarter set.

This month’s solids club celebrated the arrival of autumn with Apple Cider. We get a lot of great e-mail from you all and I have to share this one from Carol:
dear ladies at p/c/f, I just opened my package from you, the latest
collection of solids-of-the-month, Apple Cider. I have to admit, that the
colors you have chosen, even though I already own all of them from previous
purchases, look even better than the identical ones I already have. You have
packaged them exquisitely!
These types of messages give us all-day smiles. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to write!
Past solids club selections are available stand-alone. fyi: the solids club is currently closed to new sign-ups, stay tuned for what’s next!

Question for the comments:
What do you want to see blogged about here at Pink Chalk Studio? Sew alongs, pattern reviews, techniques, links to cool stuff, guest posts, ? For someone that has a gazillion thoughts a second about sewing I get overwhelmed with too many ideas and not enough time. Help me focus!

I just love the color combo blue and brown- I enjoy sew alongs.
What a fitting name for that fabric stack….Apple Cider. I just makes my mouth water thinking about it, and even more looking at it. MMM, delicious.
Love the blues…..
I like learning new techniques
( or a new way to do something )
Leaving for a quilting retreat with 12 other ladies on Friday, stopping at 3 Quilt Shops on the way…my mission: add Basic Solids to my stash..so, Apple Cider would fit right in to that. Thanks for the chance to win.
Looks like a great collection, I’d love to win!
Sew alongs are my thing right now … tutorials … tips … introductions to fabrics and designers, tools. I’m new to all of this and am soaking up information appropriate for beginners but I also love to see inspiring ideas and work way beyond my skills. Something to aspire to.
I do love your blog already. I’ve been following for a year or more.
I love sew alongs or tutorials. I also love it when people talk about how they come up with ideas- maybe it’s just that I have no imagination, but there must be a trick to deriving inspiration- I need to get that trick mastered.
Love the new fabric in the blog post!! Glad you there to inspire and inform my favorite activity!
I would love to see somw sew alongs. I am itching to jump into another one.
I always enjoy tutorials!

I haven’t done a sew-along and I would like to. Plus I love tutorials since I’m a new sewer/quilter.

I would like to see more techniques. Thanks for asking.
a sew along would be fun – especially with the holidays coming up! thanks!
I like seeing techniques as well as pattern reviews. Thanks for the great information you give us.
I usually scan blogs and love to see ideas for projects and then patterns to make them. Also love seeing the new fabric lines you have purchased! Always so yummy!
Hi! I just found your site today from a Cluck Cluck Sew link — so happy to know about you!
Love blues and browns together!
I love this shade of blue. Kathie L in Allentown
The London collection is beautiful – my favorite decor colors right now! And the Apple Cider solids selection includes the perfect colors for fall. Great job!
I enjoy seeing fabric introductions. I would love to see some more organic lines. And tutorials are always nice
I enjoy the pattern reviews and info on techniques. Sew-alongs are fun, too, especially if there are pics (or flicker posts) of the progress. I love seeing the fabric choices others use; they provide great inspiration.
THE NEW FABRICS ARE SUCH LOVELY SHADES OF BLUE, SO TRANQUIL, AN THE BROWNS ARE SO WARM
Technique!!!! I am a newbie sewer and crafter and tutorials and fun simple projects are right up my alley right now. I’m not afraid to try hard things and really want to make a quilt at some point but finding good technique posts is difficult!
I’m a visual learner, so I really like the sew alongs!
The “London” collection has my head doing gyrations and design combinations. I love this. The colors are so rich! Thank YOu for bringing us such wonderful Treats!
Oh my – love them both!
What a great pop of colors on the quilt. Looks great!
Love that apple cider collection! What great colors!
The London collection looks beautiful!
I really like your showcases of fabrics and the One-Yard-Wonder sew-along, so I’d be happy if you’d start a new one after you finish. It’s so inspiring to see the fabric choices and the finished projects!
For blog ideas I like variety, and I think you have that covered. Just keep doing what you do!!
I like seeing new fabrics; hearing about new books and patterns; sales in your shop; sew-alongs–pretty much what’s been going on here. Would like to hear about all those other ideas swimming around in your head
Love the London line!
I like the blog to include guest posts- it’s interesting to read how others are creating.
Love the London collection! I like the idea of the One Yard Wonders, but highlighting different books for shorter amounts of time. Maybe two or three projects from each.
Maybe I’m lucky to win some lovely fabrics!
Would love to be the winner.
I’d love to see tutorials. I love the inspiration ideas that you share as well.
Techniques and tutorials would be wonderful. New fabrics, guest posts!!

I love techniques and tutorials, stuff like that!
The London collection is Fabulous! I could start my fall quilt today if I had the Apple Cider collection. Would have been fun to see snapshots of your staff whipping up the “Line Art Quilt”
I’d love to join a sew-a-long. I love the blog as is, really. Love all the pretty projects and great fabric combinations you all come up with. Keep it going…and a heartfelt thank you!
I always love tutorials!!
I just love the colors in London. The birds are sweet too.
I do love tutorials, but pattern reviews would be awesome, too. It would be very helpful and also brings patterns to my attention that I might not otherwise be aware of!
I always love new tutorials, and this time of year many of us are looking for cute small gifts to make for Christmas!
Lovely fabrics! I used Dena Designs fabrics in special quilt for my niece about a year ago. The feel of the fabrics was very nice, so soft and sewed like a dream. Her designs are beautiful!
I’m so glad you showed what you got from Dena Designs – I’m not familiar with it, but I love what I see! I think Pink Chalk has excelled at sew-alongs and pattern reviews, so I’d be happy with more of the same. Thanks!
Would love to see some more sew alongs. The 1yd wonders was great, provided an awesome reference when I had questions for some of my projects.
Both London and Apple Cider are lovely.
We like quilt a longs or block a longs.
