London is the newest arrival from Dena Designs. It features a palette of soft blues, rich chocolate, and just the right amount of chartreuse and pink to make it all pop. The painted brush strokes give the collection a dreamy, delicate visual texture. Lovely. Diana pulled some solids to match: Kona Cotton Dusty Blue, Kona Cotton Caribbean, Free Spirit Designer Solids Chocolate, and Free Spirit Designer Solids Chatreuse. London is available in yardage and as a Fat Quarter set.

This month’s solids club celebrated the arrival of autumn with Apple Cider. We get a lot of great e-mail from you all and I have to share this one from Carol:
dear ladies at p/c/f, I just opened my package from you, the latest
collection of solids-of-the-month, Apple Cider. I have to admit, that the
colors you have chosen, even though I already own all of them from previous
purchases, look even better than the identical ones I already have. You have
packaged them exquisitely!
These types of messages give us all-day smiles. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to write!
Past solids club selections are available stand-alone. fyi: the solids club is currently closed to new sign-ups, stay tuned for what’s next!

Question for the comments:
What do you want to see blogged about here at Pink Chalk Studio? Sew alongs, pattern reviews, techniques, links to cool stuff, guest posts, ? For someone that has a gazillion thoughts a second about sewing I get overwhelmed with too many ideas and not enough time. Help me focus!

beautiful fabrics. love to make quilts and totes. thanks.
I am always looking for ideas to make something new and a better way of doing it. Thanks for the giveaway!
I enjoy pattern reviews.
As a new quilter (and subscriber to your great blog) I would love to see some basic techniques like binding (I haven’t tackled this yet and am seeing there are a few ways to do so) and machine sewing methods. Might be redundant for alot of your readers but one can always learn something new
thanks for the chance!
I enjoy sew alongs and tutorials. Something that might be interesting is to compare the way a couple of quilters do a particular technique – that way we get great tips and can know the pros and cons of different ways of approaching the technique. Thanks for the chance.
Love that Apple Cider solids collection. Yummy!
Oops, I forgot to include something to help you focus. I like seeing new fabrics, of course — you are a fabric shop after all. I also think that sewing tips and pattern reviews are helpful and inspiring. It makes sense in that you are encouraging people to sew and are selling patterns, so knowing a bit more about items or techniques reinforce each other. I also love seeing real projects from the patterns — especially if they are in different fabrics. It helps so much to know where any pitfalls might be, and to envision something in a variety of colors and/or patterns.
I love to see a variety of things! I’d love to see whatever it is you’re thinking about! Guest posts are great because it opens up to more readers/bloggers. I’d love to see more quilting… but I’d love tips, too. Tutorials and reviews are awesome…
I’m not very helpful, am I?
Love the collection! First, I really enjoy everything about your blog. My suggestion is this: There are a lot of us that are still at beginner level and it would be nice to see a series that tackles the basics with tutorial/pictures/video and maybe tips and tricks. The key is having a set day to feature it (example: first Monday of the month or every Tuesday). I and probably other readers would put a calendar reminder to make sure we don’t miss the article/post. Even though I get emails subscriptions sometimes my time is tight and I can’t always read the full post so I set calendar reminders for a couple of sites that have reoccuring post that I don’t want to miss. I hope this helps and I appreciate you reaching out to your readers for input (sorry for the long Post) – This is a big reason why your site is top on my sewing blog list! AJ

Such beautiful fabric, I just sit and look at every page dreaming about all the beautiful things to make!
I love everything you’re doing! You have so many wonderful pattern ideas and fabric combos. Keep it ip! I love all of the ideas- if only you could help me find more time to sew!
Oh, those blues, love them. I love a good sew along or tutorial. Small finish them in a day projects are great too, as I’ve always got too many projects on the go, but you know, one small one extra never hurts?
A variety of things to keep it fresh. Either tutorials of your own, or links to really good ones (no need to reinvent the wheel after all, and there are many outstanding tutorials out there that cover lots of things).
Pattern reviews are always really helpful. Sometimes just hearing what people have made, how they thought it went and things they’d watch out for with a pattern would be nice.
And fabric. I like seeing fabric.
Go nuts, mix it up!
I love your links to cool stuff!
the pattern of choice is echanted, although i do like shades of green also.
Thank you so much for sharing. Please keep writing.
