So cute!! I made the messenger bag for my son: http://jessecreations.wordpress.com/2011/04/15/fiber-arts-friday-finishing-things/ and I have the fabric to make one for my daughter (it’s even all cut out I just have to sew it, I’m such a bad mom, ha!). It was a fun project, and he LOVES it. I’m excited to see the pirate version!!

All the fabrics for these projects are really great. That bear (thought it was a pig when I first saw it) ought to turn out cute!

My sons would love that messenger bag. And depending on what you say, maybe I can get two created in time for Christmas! And I’m excited to see the bear in a different fabric. I’ve had some problems sewing with corduroy in the past and have stayed away from the bear for that reason. Thanks for showing us some different options!

As always, it is great fun to see the fabric choices, and to be reminded how different a project “feels” depending on the fabric chosen. (Pirates v. Little Apples is a perfect example of that.)

The little bear is very cute. I think both of these projects will look great in the selected fabrics.

I love the projects in this book. Our library has it as an ebook now, but I couldn’t find the patterns, so not sure if they didn’t add them or I am missing something, will have to ask, the next time I am in.

I’m impressed with the One yard wonders!! It’s amazing what you can make with so little material. I especially adore the child’s messenger bag, I’m thinking this is going to be my next project!! Thanks for all your inspiration.
