Sandi Henderson took first place in the double booth category at the Spring 2011 Quilt Market. The strike offs for Secret Garden barely arrived days before the show. You’ll spot prior collections mixed into the samples, a beautiful display of her aesthetic and color eye growing, evolving and emerging while staying true.
In looking at this photo again I realized that the yellow on the booth walls is a perfect match to the yellow in Secret Garden. What a lovely detail!

The Lock and Key print is a favorite. The scale, color and detail of the artwork is just plain joyful to look at!

And then there’s the Garden Gate medallions, Wow! (12″ square, we measured)

Happy, happy fabric.

Diana pulled the perfect solids to match: Free Spirit Designer Solids Red Plum, Bella Solids Teal, Kona Cotton Dresden Blue, Kona Cotton Lemon, Bella Solids Pistachio (more coming!), and Free Spirit Designer Solids Flamingo.

The April in Paris Collage print from Timeless Treasures arrived last year printed on canvas. I think it’s safe to say many of us have a piece sitting in our stash or made up into a project. We re-ordered that bolt quite a few times!
Now there’s April in Paris Collage Laminated Cotton!

We also have other laminated lovelies perfect for a cute craft apron, tote bag bottom, or lunch bag. Be sure to check out our tips on sewing with Laminated Cotton.

This fall, I am sewing some new pajama pants for my nieces.
Oooh fun giveaway! My sewing has nothing to do with Fall – I’m just working on a Block of the Month and a sample.

I am working on a fall line of clothes for a boutique I work with, a dress for my niece’s birthday with matching doll dress because she asked if he aunt would make her a pretty dress. I’m also getting ready for a mission trip to Honduras to teach a group of women to sew in order to help their families. Excited about that!

i have a quilt i want to start with some tula pink fabric, and i am doing some hexie handwork when i get a chance. i love those key fabrics from the secret garden!.
These are awesome choices! I also just love the lock & Key print and have really been wanting to try a laminated fabric for a couple totes. Unfortunately my schedule has been so crazy I think I may have to go straight to Christmas sewing. Although I still have my fall place mats from last year that are still in my “to finish” pile. Thanks bunches!
I’m actually just getting back into sewing. . .am working on some Christmas quilts. . have the first top almost together. Yea!
I finally began hand quilting my king-sized bed quilt, and that will take me quite a while to complete. This fabric is lovely so had to enter this week.
I like those keys a lot! I’m quilting up a storm as usual, but I could use some new clothes, too.
For fall I am sewing simple sleeveless a-line dresses for my almost 2-year-old.
My daughter just got married Saturday, so the wedding dress and all the wedding crafting is done – finally! I can’t wait to return to my quilting projects. I have a bunch of blocks to do for swaps, and then I plan to actually do the quilts I have blocks for — at least 5 or 6 of then, just sitting in envelopes in my sewing room. Then it will be time to start the Christmas projects. My family is talking about a “handmade Christmas” again this year. Really excited to get back to quilting now that the wedding is over.
And I LOVE Secret Garden! Sooooo lovely! Thanks for the chance!
Some absolutely inspiring fabrics. *Sigh* Now if i could just rearrange my sewing area so that I can accomplish something without having to move half the contents of my sewing area first. I think before I start sewing seriously again I had better finish organizing.
Everything about this entire line of fabric screams “YOU NEED ME!!” And who am I to question that?? This is by far her most beautiful line of fabrics!! Thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway!
