Fat Quarter Tuesday Giveaway – Hometown by Sweetwater

We’ve been quietly flipping out here at Pink Chalk over the arrival of Hometown by Sweetwater. The colors, the simple elegance of the prints, the hometown NAMES! We talked a lot about it before it got here and now we can’t stop discussing what we’re each going to make with it. Get back to work everyone!

There are 7 prints on cotton canvas (pictured above). A medium weight, very-nice-drape-not-too-heavy-and-very-silky canvas. Carrie pulled some bag patterns that would look gorgeous in the canvas including Spice Market Tote by Amy Butler, Sidekick Sling Bag by Betz White, Down Home Tote by Sweetwater, and, of course, the Mail Sack by Pink Chalk Studio!

38 prints make up the full collection of quilting cottons. News is my favorite print for now. I just love all the words they chose to use.

Fat Quarter Sets, Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Layer Cakes too!

And yes, we’re just a tad bit excited to see that our very own Bainbridge Island made the cut.  Last fall, Sweetwater asked their blog readers to send in their hometown for a secret upcoming project. They received thousands of responses and put as many as they could fit (1,000 total!) onto the Town Square print. It includes towns and cities from all over the world.
