Love this room – green is my favorite color. But, one question – does it give a green glow to all the fabric?

Love the Yoda in the shelves! The green is so vivid and happy. Makes me wish that our walls were like computer desktops and changeable!

Love the color scheme and the table. Mine is against a wall, so makes it hard to do quilts on it, so need to see if I can change it around.

I love Jacquie’s work I’m so jazzed she has a book coming out. Her blog is so inspirational – have you seen her birches (tree) quilt?? Amazing! Love that green in her sewing room…and I’m only mildly (or crazy) jealous of her cutting table…

Another lovely sewing room. I think I am going to move my cutting table to the middle of the room. It seems like lots of people have it that way.

I have so many of her blog posts bookmarked for inspiration that my hard drive has threatened my browser with a system crash for memory-hogging. She simply sees things in fabric….

There are so many things I love about this room. The cutting table, naturally, but also the prints on the wall by her machine. Are they photos of her original quilts, I wonder?

The wall coloring is too energized for me, but I have a feeling it is a perfect fit fot this energetic quilter. It makes me so happy to see these different spaces and be reminded that the quilting world is, indeed, a great big tent with room for many different styles and personalities.

Thanks so much to Pink Chalk and to all the quilters who opened their homes to us.

Thanks for all the lovely comments about my studio. Kitty, only two walls of the studio are lime green, the rest are white and with all the light I’ve found it really doesn’t skew the colors as i’m working. The prints by my sewing machine are batiks that my son did when he was 10 in 4-H. We melted wax and he made the designs…I loved them so much, I framed them. The cutting table is an old platform bed (from the same son) that I repurposed by adding legs, painting it, and putting casters on so i can move it around the room.
