Pink Chalk Fabrics is welcoming Spring with fresh patterns and LOTS of new fabric. This week I decided to highlight some of our downloadable pattern designers. We carry 229 designs that are available for instant download. Everything from simple bags to stylish clothing designs complete with full scale pattern sheets.
Sis Boom patterns by Jennifer Paganelli and Carla Hegeman Crim have been with us since the beginning. We love the upscale designs and extremely well-written and illustrated instructions.
Besides designing some of the CUTEST bags on the planet, Keyka Lou allows you to make and sell items from her patterns. Carrie has made several of these designs, they sew up nicely and are quick to make.

We’ll be giving 7 lucky winners their choice of one of these patterns. Good luck!

I’ve bought a sample from Keyka Lou, and it was sewn very nicely. She’s on my list of pattern makers to try!
ooooohhhhhh! Wow! I love the new patterns and would love to make something bright for my daughter – spring is here!
I love the Sherbet Dreams pattern…
I love the Kitchen Delight Apron Pattern.
Love that Jamie dress!
Just wanted to say that I LOVE the little ninjas pattern you featured in the newsletter — super cute
Enjoy looking at the fabrics, and like the patterns available.
I need motivation to get sewing again, life’s been kind of hectic. Keeping my fingers crossed for a win as that diva dress is super cute and looks easy!
I can see the many options for fabric on Keyka Lou’s purses and clutches. The pattern and fabrics of these features makes me want to run barefoot!
My question is when you download a pattern, how do you print it off big enough?
When the pattern is full-sized it is presented on separate sheets of paper that get taped together using register marks provided. You then cut out the pattern piece.
I’ve made a Sis Boom pattern myself and it was a very enlightening experience as to how these pattern work. Having made tissue patterns for years I loved the process of being able to print my daughter’s size, tape and cut.
I then printed, taped and cut the pattern in a size for me. Something you can not do with tissue patterns that are multi-sized.
Also great when you have to make sizing adjustments and want to start over!
Many sewists trace their tissue patterns in order to have this flexibility. Downloadables make it easy.
The only step that is an additional step is the taping. You have to cut out the pattern no matter what
Ooooh, I’d love to win Sherbet Dreams! (Of course, then I’d have to buy the fabric!)

Hi,
This is the first time I have ever really explored your fabric and pattern site and I was very impressed and saw many things I would like.
As a doll maker, I especially liked looking at all the Melly & Me patterns and the Wee Wonderfuls. And of course all the fun fabric.
I will return after I have done my taxes.
Susan
I wish the Melly & Me patterns were e-patterns as they are a little expensive right now. And they appear pretty simple and easily converted to e patterns. Susan
What a fun give-away! The patterns are charming.
Awesome patterns!!
what great patterns! Thanks for the great giveaways!
