I absolutely adore this fabric! The black horse that is. My mind is racing to the next idea and project that I can use it on!

Just found your blog by doing a search about “how to use interfacing”. Thanks so much for your post way back from October 2008 ~ it was awesome and very informative! Looking forward to checking out your shop and blog. Thanks again!

Does anyone still use tea cozies? Just curious? They are pretty and all but I am seriously curious if anyone uses them.

:) I don’t use mine as often as I should Rhonda and I’m thinking the cozy would be a beautiful protector from dust.

I wish I had a teapot so I could make a tea cozy! I make tea all the time, but it’s so boring — made in a mug and not a neat teapot. Anyway, the Swedish horse fabric is so fun!

I love tea cozies in themselves, but to have one in these fabrics.. oh.

But to answer a question – I use tea cozy all the time. It’s just that I’ve found that woollen hats make the best tea cozies and I often have to knit new ones to myself as I have given others to my teapot. And yes, I get many weird looks, when people notice a nice colourful hat perched on my worktable.

I lived in a town, which was called the sister city to Sweden’s. We had 2 huge Dala Horses on Main Street. I love that fabric.

I wanted to make this for my niece who picked out a beautiful teapot on her bridal registry. I thought it would make a nice gift since a tea cozy isn’t something we usually buy for ourselves.
