A little catch up this week. I missed posting the Fat Quarter Tuesday stacks to the blog last week but they were included in the newsletter. To square things up I’ll be giving the set featured in the newsletter away today and re-loading with new colorways for next week’s drawing. (Great Reason #29 to be signed up for the Pink Chalk Fabrics Newsletter, tee hee).
Bon Vivant from Paige Miller Stanley features the most FABULOUS retro Paris map print ever. I keep going back and forth on whether I like the Red or the Turquoise better so I’m glad to be giving away one of each!
One of the top customer requests we receive is to color match solids to popular prints in the shop. Those requests get routed to Diana, our in-house color matching guru. She has the ability to always pull ‘that’ bolt off the shelf that makes the stack sing. Of course, the rest of us can’t help but get in her way! It’s very fun. Several weeks ago Diana was asked to pick out solids that matched all the colors in the Jenaveve Linen Floral Birds Garden Fresh fabric (the bird print featured in the above stack). Well… bolts starting flying. When the dust settled we had a very happy customer and 3 new Jenaveve Linen Color Stacks that really show off the Wow of this amazing collection of 55″ linens from Valori Wells.
Last Two Week’s Fat Quarter Set Winners:
Stephanie of S-Renee Designs and Ellen Ban (blog comments)
Laura and Sherry (newsletter subscribers)
I’ve sent you all a private e-mail. Congratulations!

How Fat Quarter Tuesday works:
- Every Tuesday two fat quarter sets from Pink Chalk Fabrics will be featured and given away the following week in a random drawing.
- The first winner is selected from those who opened their Pink Chalk Fabrics e-mail newsletter during the week.
- The second winner is selected from all comments left on the blog for the week (comments from all posts, not just the giveaway post).
You can sign up for the Pink Chalk Fabrics Newsletter here.

love love love those Jeneveve color stacks – you guys really do put together the best fabric sets!
I LOVE the Bon Vivant collection – the Paris map is inspired!
Once again, lovely fabric choices. Loved your Aurifil block and working on the download right now! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
I really struggle with matching solids to all of my prints. This is something I’d really like to improve on this year in my sewing projects. I’ve been very tempted by your new solids of the month fabric club but I worry I couldn’t keep up with all of those fabric shipments!! I love this FQ selection! lovely!
I’m so excited about this latest Paris-inspired line! These types of prints are always well-loved by my South Louisiana friends when I make them baby quilts.
Keep up the good work matching those solids with the prints. Excellent work!
Those fabrics are very French looking. I am enjoying your blog. I need to get my subscription going so I can keep up with happenings. I like your bright and modern fabric. I am trying to wean myself off of Moda and Civil War Reproductions. My first wow quilt was with Girly Girly by Pat Bravo.
wow – LOVE the bottom Jenaveve stack!!
Grey is a very popular color right now, it seams!
I am loving the Bon Vivant fabrics.
I so love the stacks you put together. I could never do that myself.
Great fabrics again – thanks for the inspiration. I’ve downloaded your A is for Aurifil block already.
Please enter me into this week’s drawing
Wow – I absolutely love those color combos. You are right, Diana makes them sing. Would love to win some!
That’s awesome! I’m going to be buying some solids to go with Kate Spain’s Central Park prints, so I will be calling on Diana’s skills for sure!
Jess
Beautiful fabric stacks and another fabulous giveaway – you’re the best!
that map print is one of the cutest i have ever seen!
I love that y’all do color matches! Y’all are fantastic!
Happy Thuesday, everyone!
Outstanding!!
The solids really make the prints stand out. Love the top bird set with the purple and orange.
Love the greys and greens in the bottom stack. Exactly the color scheme I’m think in of to go in a dark purple room!
Wow! Diana really does have a great eye for color! Those stacks are drool worthy!
I love the paris fabric
love love LOVE the fabric stacks!!
I love those birds!!!
I better not tall my sister about that Paris map fabric or she will buy you out!
Love the colour matching with the Jenaveve collection.
Those colors really bring out the prints! Way to go, Diana!
Love, love, LOVE the map of Paris! I actually didn’t see any poodles when I was there, but these fabrics still ROCK!
I love these fabrics. Wish I had! I have signed up for your newsletter and am glad to have found your blog!
OK, why don’t my comments ever show up? I feel so left out…
I am definitely loving the color stack and your ability to help with color matching – it makes online shopping much less stressful!
I love the turquoise Bon Vivant and the green color stack.
great fabrics. love them all.
Oh Mon Dieu! I do so adore the paris map! I feel a petit project coming on!
I love the Jenaveve Linen Color Stacks. So cute!
I like the idea of getting solids with the prints in sets.
Great for those of us, who are color challenged;)
Debbie
just when i think you’ve shown all of the wonderful fabric out there, you come up with more!! :-}
Those Jenaveve linen colorstacks are dreamy. You know how to tempt a girl!
Whoops, there it is! I’m so excited I can post now!
These stacks are so beautiful and inspiring! I have to say that I like the turquoise Bon Vivant best (it’s just my favourite colour …), but the red is incredible as well! The print & solids stacks are great, too, like you said, the prints really come into their own mixed with the right solids!
What a knack Diane has with putting together such lovely stacks – and what an inspiring print to start from. I agree with you about the Paris maps – I can’t decide so I think I’ll have to buy both! (Just don’t tell ok?)
Oh my, those are gorgeous sets together!
Fantastic color combinations!
I’m horrible about matching fabrics, but your weekly posts are helping me see combos I would have never thought of! Education through absorbtion!
Those fabric stacks are drool-worthy!
I hope to try some linen sewing sometime this year..I love the look of it but am intimidated by the reviews I hear that it is harder towork with than regular material.
I have not worked with lineen. The colors are exciting.
Just learned about this site. Am excited to start visiting regularly!
Love the retro map fabric. I need to decide which one I like the best. I think it would make great wall art.
