Fat Quarter Tuesday Weekly Giveaway – Alexander Henry Fulham Road Cotton Lawn

Alexander Henry can lay claim to quite a few classic fabric designs. Prints that we recognize and fall in love with for all time. Fortunately they will sometimes reprint a popular design as well as make it available on new base cloths. Pretty amazing for this industry and a testament to their talent for good, timeless design.

Mocca is one such print. I have this fabric in a quilting cotton and home dec canvas. Today we received Mocca printed on the Fulham Road Cotton Lawn base cloth. The Red colorway is my all time fav. We’ve put together a FQ sampler set of all 4 Mocca prints.

And when we started thinking about how much we LOVE the Fulham Road Cotton Lawn we went ahead and put together a fresh set of 6 prints from the debut collection of designs. This would make a fabulous winter season scarf!

This fabric is gorgeous–it would be wonderful in anything but as living room drapes it would be divine with the dark shaded fabric and deep taupe walls!!!!!! Would love to win the fabrics and try in a quilt and purse.

Those Mocca prints are beautiful – I like that they are big flower prints but not in a groovy way.

Those Mocca prints are ridiculously beautiful. I love the lacy lushness of the feathery patterns. Or ferns. Or trees. So lovely!

Oh, I really love the peacock print. I had the chance to manhandle some at Michael Levine’s, and, for the life of me, I don’t know why I didn’t buy any! What is wrong with me!? It’s delightful.

Congratulations, Bethany and Marguerite. Those are lovely fabrics. It’s interesting to me how the different colorways really change the personality of the design.

Pink Chalk fabrics are teaching me to think outside the “traditional calico” box. I love the way my quilting style is evolving. Thanks for the inspiration!

Alexander Henry fabrics have been some of my favourites since back in the 80′s when I began quilting. I love that butterfly print. It’s been around for a long time and it is still gorgeous!
