Fat Quarter Tuesday Weekly Giveaway

Mix It Up is a new Color Stack featuring the Metro Cafe prints from Monaluna and Louise Cunningham for Robert Kaufman. I TOTALLY need a lime green Kitchenaid Mixer!

Another custom Color Stack – Aunt Dot Loves Turquoise. I named this series in memory of my Aunt Dorothy (aka Aunt Dot). As a kid I thought Dot was such a cool name to have and I still do. Aunt Dot loved sewing and fabric and fun prints. I’m certain she’s up in Heaven smiling really big and nodding with approval.

Bah! I have an ancient black KitchenAid mixer. Maybe some glossy spray paint? Just can’t bring myself to spring for a new one in one of their new colors when: a) the old one still works and b) I’d much rather spend the $ to expand my stash! Mix it up is so much fun and since my son is a young chef and my best friend’s daughter is a pastry chef, I can see all sorts of projects with this fabric. But will also have to pickup some of the polka dots as I’m collecting them for a big all polka dot pinkwheel quilt. Have a great day!

Mix it Up is my absolute favorite! It is time to head over to the shop. Can’t you see adorable pieced aprons made with this collection? It might entice me to get up from the sewing machine and actually cook.

This may be a really basic question, but what can you make with a stack of fat quarters?
