Great – I should certainly pronounce, impressed with your website. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and related information ended up being truly simple to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you know it in the least. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or anything, website theme . a tones way for your client to communicate. Excellent task.

I'm very late in replying...but thank you! I've put the cat search on hold. I will eventually be "in the market" for an orange tabby, mainly because they are beautiful, but I prefer to look for cats at shelters too, so I'll have to see when the time comes. It won't be for a while though...when I left that comment we thought we were losing our cat we have now...but she pulled through, thankfully, and now has many years left! :-)

I love that skirt & the photo too (oh, and i have the sweetest orange tabby cat who was a rescue as well, and named 'Tangerine' by the neighborhood kids who first got him to come indoors.) But really, I too want to know how much yardage of the cute Clothworks fabrics would I need to order to make that skirt for a grown-up not-skinny lady?

Vicki, thank you for the heads up on my display issues! Not sure what happened, I went in and re-saved the theme template and everything went back to normal.

I just love that skirt and the fabrics - just beautiful. I wish there was another way to obtain that skirt pattern however since I don't have any dealers near me. :( Oh well.
I'm not sure what has happened to your blog this morning but the fonts are tiny today and there are things overlapping each other. It was not that way yesterday when I visited the blog. Very strange.

I love the skirt! The colors are very happy I look forward to checking out the collection. I hope you are enjoying summer now that it is here. I really liked your cat story, I grew up with a long haired orange cat. Her name was Mother Nature. It came from the "it's not nice to fool Mother Nature" advertisement about the "butter" that was actually margarine. Silly...she was a great cat :-).

Such a cute skirt, you have such an eye for fabric combinations. Your daughter looks so lovely and I love how you always seem to include your kitty in so many of your images. Hope your weekend is grand. ox

Hi Mariah, I LOVE this question. We refer to our cat as an 'orange tabby' and he came from the shelter.

Our first cat Cooper was an orange tabby that came from a neighbor who was giving away kittens. When Cooper died I went to the Oakland SPCA to get another cat that looked exactly like our old cat :) Caitlin and I came home with two!

Simba and his brother Roscoe. Roscoe is no longer with us. Roscoe was a very outgoing and friendly cat (a short haired orange tabby vs. Simba's long hair). Roscoe was our choice as he was very gentle and playful. Simba was very shy and wouldn't come out of the corner at the pound to even let us play with him. They were living in the same cage. Caitlin and I didn't have the heart to leave him there alone so we took both kittens home :)

That was 12 years ago.

I'm a huge fan of shelter animals, there are so many amazing pets just waiting for a home.

Have fun finding your match!
