15!

On Sunday, I spent the afternoon debating between 30 different cell phones and scratching my head at the cost of upgrading our family plan to unlimited texting. I now have a 15 year old and I love her so much. Smart, Beautiful, Unique, Knows Everything, Emerging, Discovering and Embracing who she is. Not too many more opportunities for goodie bags. I’m going out with a bang!

Happy birthday to your whole family. I once asked a friend if she texted with an unlimited plan. She replied, “I have a teenager. They don’t talk. They text. Of course, I have an unlimited plan. LOL” Welcome to the club.

Oh how I LOVE these bags – they are fabulous. Hmmm…now you’ve got me thinking. I’ve been wanting to make some fun beach bags for all the beachgoers in my family (which is everyone). This may have solved my summer birthdays gifting dilemmas :)

An unlimited text plan is definitely the way to go if you have teens. And get yourself a phone with a full keyboard so you can keep up!

The bags are darling. Will you be in Minneapolis?

Wow! Happy birthday to both of you!

My teen only uses texting – I think she puts about 30 minutes of talk time on her phone per month but there are thousands of texts. We lucked out years ago on a $10 per month unlimited texting for all phones, so now we’ll be with our carrier for the rest of our lives, or for as long as we have teenagers. Which, let’s face it, is for the rest of our lives. :)

And goodness the texting doesn’t go away after the teen years. Its the way I hear almost daily from my young marrieds as they go about their very busy lives. Love the bags, wish I was invited!

Go with the texting flow! If we send our teenagers an email, we won’t hear back for a month. If we text them – we receive a reply instantly. Any communication = good communication with a high school kid! :) Enjoy the birthday fun.

Love the goodie bags…lucky party people! Go with the texting you’ll be suprised how many get sent/received. As much as I hate texting myself sometimes it is the only way to get a quick response. Happy Birthday celebrating!

What?! No goodie bags after a certain age? I’m thirty-nine in a few months… us old folks we’re the ones who *need* and appreciate them most, don’t you think? I can’t believe you have a 15 year old. Bet you can’t believe it either!

I can’t believe you have a 15 year old. Can I please call on you for advice as we enter into this new stage. No idea what I’m doing (Emma will be 12 this year) and I’m a little nervous. Actually a LOT nervous.

I finally entered the texting world after much resistance. I still have my phone that needs to be charged daily because I get overwhelmed looking at them all and making decisions. 15…that’s awesome. I love the Echino for the bags.
