Fa, la, la….I am making 6 pencil cases for 6 different little girls between 4 and 9 years. I have 2 little girl lap quilts for use by the girls or their dollies. PJ pants for my hubby and an assortment of shopping totes for my sister and sisters in law. And I need to start a baby quilt for a baby due on New Years day!!! This is the first give away I’ve commented on – maybe I’ll be lucky.

I’m knitting socks, sewing a couple of aprons and camera cases. And baking. One of these fabric bundles would repenish my stash, and I’d love the book for next Christmas’s gift-making.

I’m working on little fabric baskets (from Pink Penguin’s tutorial) that I’ll stuff with small things like fabric wallets and tissue holders for my mom, sister, and nieces. First time I’ve ever really made stuff for Christmas, and I’m having a blast.

I am almost done making flannel jammies for my 3 year old niece that match her Mom’s Christmas gift…on my new Janome Jem 760. (An early Christmas gift to myself.) As a relatively new sewer, I want to strangle the pattern writer who forgot to mention to “flip the front & backs” of the leg. But I prevailed…whooohooo.

I’m making a large gingerbread house with a separate (smaller) dog house…of course, way too many cookies…and a strip pieced scrap quilt at the last minute, because even wtih my best efforts to be organized and prepared early this year, I still thought of a HUGE project I just had to make at the last minute…so typical. I’d love to have the book…maybe it could help me get better prepared for next year….probably not.
