The annual Kitsap County Clothing and Textile Advisors’ Sewing Room Faire is THIS Friday, September 11th (sorry for the late notice!). It features fabric by the pound, patterns, notions and and all kinds of sewing-related items. The group collects donations all year long and let me tell you, the amount of goods is UNreal.
I’m meeting Cindy there at 12:00 sharp. I’ll be wearing the running shoes.

The Sewing Room Faire is a fundraiser for the Kitsap CTA organization which provides educational workshops and programs for youth, adults, and low income families, youth scholarships for sewing-related activities, and cash awards for prize-winning entries for youth and adult exhibits at the Kitsap County Fair.

Thanks for the magazine. It arrived yesterday and is proudly displayed on the coffee table along with the book and other magazine for all to see. We had Cangelosi’s and a few others for dinner last night. Tell Greg I found a recipe for mashed potatoes and parsnips. He fixed that on one of our visits and I remember how delicious it was. The dish was a big hit. Dad cooked a beef tenderloin on the grill using the thermometer you gave him and it was perfect.
