The 2010 Sewing Calendar arrived last week. Megan Smith edited this fabulous collection of sewing projects and I’m very impressed with the final production. Each page in the boxed set has 3 days of the year on it (it is a calendar after all!) along with instructions for a simple sewing project. Over 100 inspiring ideas.

I’m happy I participated, it includes two of the free patterns available here on my blog, the Water Bottle Carrier and the Quick & Easy Bookmarks. I’m in very good company. A few of the names that popped out at me as I flipped through the days: Ellen from The Long Thread, Joanna of Stardust Shoes, Katrin from Sew Mad, Cindy from Skip to My Lou and Alicia of Mayfly.
This is our last full week of summer. The girls are looking forward to seeing their school friends. I’m looking forward to the rhythm of the school year routine (next February can you please remind me that I just said that!). The plan is to squeeze in a final bit of summer fun, stockpiling a few more sunny memories to carry into the winter. Enjoy your week!

Congratulations on the projects being included in the calendar, they looks terrific. Enjoy this last week of summer!!!
How cute is that!? Congratulations on being included in such a neat project. I may have to get me one of those (calendars, that is).
Congrats!!!! How cute! I want one lol.
Very nice again! Good job.
Woo-hoo! My posting is still to come, but I can tell you I was thrilled when I thumbed through my calendar this weekend and saw YOU in there! Pretty cool for me to be named in a row with so many great crafters – not to say how MANY lovely things are in the calendar! ^-^
This will make a great gift for some friends who are first time sewers. Also I’ll have to get one for myself. Thanks!
Now I have to get one of those too! I just got my copy of the Quilting Arts Gifts; I love it. Can’t wait to make some of the items in there.
You don’t know how much I was wishing this was going to be a giveaway!
