What a cutie-pie! And isn’t is comforting/reassuring as a parent to know that, despite iPods, DS’s, cable and internet—a cardboard box still has a place in your child’s heart? A statement is being made in that portrait—I think it’s definitely frame-worthy, don’t you?? And BTW: gorgeous. quilt.—take care, Kathy!—Laurie
I can’t help but comment on this. Being little is a great excuse to be “in the box.” I just wrote a book about getting “out of the box” when you are older and stuck on creativity.
That quilt and that darling curly hair are pretty creative and fun!
I love that photo and this post Struck a cord with me; my son is completely like that with his baby quilt. He, too, will climb into any box around–it’s a real trick keeping mailer boxes kid-free while packing & sending them in the mail.

It’s so nice to see that they don’t grow out of that anytime soon.
She must have been a cat in a previous life.

Love the quilt, love the box, and love, love that hair! I’ve always wanted curly hair and mine is straight as a pin. Lucky girl.
