Hi Kathy! Great to hear you are getting your space back...I think it's so important!! Good luck with the reorganizing and remodeling! Sounds like things have been busy for you which is nice to hear! It's been wonderful ordering fabrics and patterns from you and receiving the orders so quickly!

Sometimes we have to think outside the box, don't we? I think you'll be happy you did it! We just moved into a new (to us) house. It has one fewer bedrooms than we've had in the past, so my sewing room had to go. I was really sad about that because I really need to sew and doing it at the dining table isn't a good option for us. This house has a wonderful huge family room in the back, so we made the crazy/bold decision to use the living room for my sewing room. I don't think many people will come to our front door, so it won't be noticed unless we are entertaining in the dining room. And I could always put a decorative screen in the doorway to obscure the view if we were having a nice dinner. I figure with our casual entertaining style, we won't regret it one bit.

Maybe you can bribe your girls with school clothes.... oh wait... they probably need them anyway..... hehehehehe! Seems fair to me... I guess I've always figured that kids+work +slave labor! Our kids always managed to get in on the work... some willing, some not so much!
Have fun getting organized! I'd be there in a flash if you weren't so far away!!!

Hi, Glad to hear you are doing well. I need that Flower Sugar! Time for Ikea? I took over part of the garage, an upstairs bedroom and part of the living room, so I feel your pain. Need help, let me know. Four full bolts is a full load for me (by myself), but I think I could handle five or six.

Wow, you certainly have been busy. So glad to hear that things are falling nicely into place for the shop and your sewing haven. Love this image and I can't wait to see the skirt you are making with the fabric. Enjoy the move.
