For Allison: I just got back! I'll warn you that it's very crowded and not particularly kid friendly. My daughter went with me one year when she was 7 because her school was out for conferences. It was very difficult on her because of cramped space and her attention span. She was just out and out bored and got really tired walking around. Of course, that made it not very much fun for me either. The booths are so small that I don't think you could actually get a stroller into most of them. A lot are setup where there's barely enough room to pass another adult. If you have a friend you're going with you could definitely take turns actually stepping into the booths.

The good thing is that Thursday is always the most crowded. Sunday will be the least crowded.

I don't want to discourage you from going because I think it's such an amazingly worthwhile event. There are definitely people there with kids in strollers and kids walking.

I checked on the website and found some photos of what the vendor floor looks like. Take a look at the first picture on this page:

I hope you get there and have a good time. My favorite booths were Pacific Fabrics, Marcy Tilton, Sandra Betzina, Billie's Fine Fabrics and the Sewing Workshop. I did my part to prop up fellow business owners today :) Also, don't miss the scones with strawberry jam in the cart just outside the Showplex! And take your own water bottle and save $3.27!

I hope you made it to the expo in spite of the snow and had fun today. I had wanted to go, but then couldn't. I would have looked for you there!

question for you. I was planning on going to expo tomorrow to shop for a few hours, but my babysitter fell through. Would It be somewhat kid friendly with a stroller? Thanks so much. Hope you had a great day!

So nice to catch up with you today Kathy! I hope the predicted snow doesn't stick and you're able to get to Expo easily. I'm looking forward to new ideas and inspiration there myself. Talk to you soon!
