Happy 2009!

January 1. All the possibilities for the year ahead swimming around in my brain.

As I noodle over a theme for 2009 two words keep pushing their way to the front: Dream Big. Attempts at more practical and task based themes have failed miserably. I keep waking up in the morning thinking Dream Big.

So Dream Big it will be. I’m not certain I know what it means for me yet but I’m excited by the prospect of the grandness of the words. I’ve already begun to conjure up images of things I’ve never even considered possible for my ordinary life.

Thank you for sharing your creative journey with me through your thoughtful comments, proud photos of hand made goodness, and the very special e-mails that seem to always arrive when I need them the most. I continue to be most inspired by and thankful for the generosity of friends old and new.

Wishing you a very Happy, Creative and Big Dreaming 2009!

xo

Glad to see your blog is up and running as usual again :) For a while I was just seeing your January 2 picture collage without anything else, not even the link to your shop! Speaking of dreaming big….those were the very words the Bernina shop lady told me 2 days ago when I stopped in to look at the Janome 6600. She steered me over to the new Bernina 830: holy cow, have you seen that thing?! I’m totally in love, but the sticker shock is still very much in effect. $11,000! LOL. Now I have visions of buying a sewing machine more expensive than my first 2 cars! Dream big indeed. Have a wonderful new year, and I look forward to reading many fine things on your blog.

Thanks Bekhy: sticker shock indeed. I really like my Janome 6600 but I do dream of having that Bernina someday!

And, yes, I broke the blog with this post and it’s all fixed now. It was just on internet explorer browsers which is why I didn’t notice (I’m on Firefox).
