11/21/08: Congratulations to Cara, comment #97! She chose my favorite one. Now off to the show!
Thoughts I had while taking pictures:
- I LOVE how the big prints have a fabulous random pattern thing going on when closed.
- Definitely need to keep one of the black & white ones for myself.
- I REALLY hope the snaps hold up.
- Looking for comparative items on Etsy for pricing assistance is a really bad idea. No, I don’t think I’ll be selling them at $5 each.
- If you ever hear that I broke my neck falling off a ladder you’ll know what I was doing.
Pick your favorite and tell me why. I’ll pick one winner at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning before I leave for the craft show.

I think I would take those sheep to bed with me.
Black and white, for sure. I’m pretty sure I’m goth at heart.
I love the ones with the chocolate brown background and large mulitcolored flowers. I have a curtain in my craft room made of the same fabric and whenever anyone comes into the room they always say that the fabric “looks just like you!”
I’m a big fan of the black and white ones as well. I love that they are simple, classic, and can still have a fun print on the inside.
I love the orange one with the poppy seed pod flower. Is that an Amy Butler fabric? Please don’t fall off the ladder!
That orange one is fantastic! I’ve been eyeing that fabric for a long time. It reminds of those cartoon bubbles with dialog hanging over all the heads. Good luck on your craft bazaar! I’m sure you’ll do great.
I love the two brown flowered ones that are just above the orange one on the lower right….very pretty fabric. Actually, they are all great. I love how when you mouse over some of them on the pic, it says, “Shut”.
Good luck at the craft show!
OK I am loving the one in the top photo, red and black outside, red and pink inside. But each one is lovely – couldn’t go wrong with any of them!
The SHEEP! We have sheep (plus I knit) so I kind of like to scoop up anything sheepy that comes my way!
The orange one is my fave! (in the top picture, top on left – in the bottom picture, bottom on right)
the pattern reminds me slightly of the Jetsons – you know, when They lived in those little atmospheric bubbles on top of a stick that jutted way up into the sky?
Plus orange is just cool.
But I agree that you should charge more than $5 and keep one of the black and white ones for yourself!
Cutie, cute cute! You’ll do great at the craft Fair!
My fave is the orange one at the bottom right in the second photo. I just love that pod flower fabric.
Have a great weekend!
I love the Denise Schmidt patchwork one because, really, can you have too much patchwork? They are all adorable though. I am also digging on the pink and red ones!
Oohhh, lovin’ anything with Denyse Schmidt on it. I would give those snaps a good workout for you. Are these business card size? They look perfect!
i like the black and white one. no, definitely not $5. i sell mine anywhere from $8 – $10 depending on the craft show location. i don’t post mine on etsy because of the $5 pouches they have. good luck!
Totally agree about looking at prices on Etsy – can be quite depressing sometimes. Love that bottom orange one.
I love the ones with the large floral on a dark background with the Pez fabric lining. I guess I just like this print and the colors. What I love about all of these is that you used fun fabrics for the linings, rather than something cheaper or a solid. I love something wonderful and unexpected on the inside, where only the user sees it.
Ooh, so many choices, but the green one with aqua appeals to me most. I don’t know if it’s more the colours or the pattern, but it just works for me!
I love the green and aqua one. Love the colors. These are lovely!
Those are great. I think the pink and red dots on the edge is my favorite. I don’t know why, the colors and patterns are just fun.
I love the black and red one with the large pink and red flower on the inside. It looks like a sunrise!!
Andi
I like the black and white, because I like things to be a bit ‘understated’ but yet striking.
Love them all! My favorites would be the red poppy flowers ones toward the bottom of the second picture (Alexander Henry, right?).
I love the orange one on the lower right corner! It has a retro look that I love. They’re gorgeous.
Very cute! I really like the red and pink polka dot! Love it!
Wonderful Kathy! I love the brown and floral one (there is actually two in your pic). I absolutely love that Anna Maria Horner pattern – and it’s getting harder to find!
I love the ones with the Denyse Schmidt cheater cloth. Why? Because I adore patchwork!
One favorite? Hmm. The Anna Maria Horner print – ivory background with tan and the magenta/turquoise interior. They’re all totally fun!
Couldn’t even. One fabric combination is better than the next. Great size for carrying toll money in the car so you don’t have to dig through the ash tray, cup holder and council and try to count quarters while driving.
I love the orangey/grey Amy Butler because I love Amy Butler. I can spot her fabric anywhere…like finding misspellings in the newspaper. They just jump out at me.
Pick ONE? I love the blue, on the left, with flowers? Sheep? Am I a total rube for not knowing the designer off hand?
) Good luck at the craft fair!
Choose only one? Amy, apologies, but I will have to say the Denyse Schmidt Country Fair. With only a small amount of fabric you get to enjoy a number of different prints!
Oh wow, those are adorable!!! I love the red and pink one. The colors on the inside are bright and way cute.
Since I don’t see the fabrics on the bolt I can’t tell who the designers are. *blushes* I recognize lots of Amy Butler in there though!
And I agree – $5 is not enough.
Just one favorite? Ok since you twisted my arm. I love the “cheater” quilt block ones! I love how each one is a little different due to their placement.
I love the orange one because it is just such a fun pattern!
3rd from the bottom on the right- with the pink Denise Schmidt fabric. One of my favorite fabrics and the first quilting fabric I bought.
Oh, the chocolate/pink/ivory leafy one. Sooo delish. Reminds me of ice cream. What fabric is that?
I love all of them. THe black and white are pretty cool looking.
How much are you going to charge for them?
Oh, I really love the blue ones on the left! So cute, bright, and BLUE! Very happy!
In the top photo, the bottom two with the red and black and white. Becuase my aunt loves those three colors and I got her addicted to your site!
I really love the orange one, but I always like orange. Still, I like the print anyway – orange or not.
I love the one that’s black and white on the outside and red and cream on the inside (with a house). It is so unexpected!!! I would have never guess that a house would be on the inside.
I love the red and pink ones. I also think you should make this into a tutorial some day in the future after you sell a bunch.
(hint hint) You could even sell the tutorial/pattern.
Oooh, I love the black and white ones because when I pull it out to hand someone a business card, the gorgeous case reflects sophistication, maturity – in a VERY hip way, and a glimmer into my support and passion for handmade indy designers, stunning fabrics, and the eco-consciousness that handmade embodies.
I adore the red with lime green and blue. I feel so happy when I see that color combination. I’d like to see the interior as, I love your combinations. There is something unpredictable and rather whimsical about your pouches. Just gorgeous!
Oh definitely the pink, black, and white! I don’t know why but that combination seems very Parisian to me. Since I am going through a serious case of wanderlust right now everything reminds me of a European city.
It’s hard to pick, they are all so beautiful, you have the greatest taste for fabrics. I like that green one, I love geometrical fabrics and that one is pretty inside out.
I love the black with the red, tan and teal flower pattern. It really pops and would look elegant when you pulled it out of your purse. (I love the playful or the kitschy, but then I’m somewhere in my professional life and…)
I really like them all but I think that ultimately the black and white, with a little bit of pink (bottom left corner in one of the shots) is my favorite. I also like your wood floors, they are very similar to mine – pretty!
I love the blue ones that look like they have a cute japanesey (I made that up) print. $5 is definitely not enough!
I love the 3 at the very top of the 1st picture! My favorite is probably the blue/green one in the middle of those 3.
