Thanksgiving 2008

This year’s picture of the Thanksgiving table. I take one every year. Last year I set up the tri-pod and did an auto-timer (drove everyone crazy, “the turkey’s getting cold Mom”). I usually just try and get the table. A snapshot of the food prepared for a celebration giving thanks for all the blessings in [...]

Craft Show – Display & Results

La Befana was a big success. High quality vendors and lots of customers. I grossed more than I anticipated which was icing on the cake. My primary goal had been to get out of my bubble and meet some fellow crafters plus have the opportunity to chat with customers.

Odds & Ends

PlanetJune is making me want to learn crochet. So many cute designs.
I received a lovely note from Tricia Waddell, Editor for Stitch magazine. She shared the news that the next issue of Stitch will be available May 12, 2009, with tentative plans for more issues if the first two issues sell well on the [...]

Virtual Quilting Bee – September

I tidied my workspace from head to toe this weekend. Desk, fabric shop area, and sewing room. My husband and kids thought I’d been been abducted and replaced by aliens. Yes, it’s been that long.
I’d hit the wall on finding things. That brochure? I know I put it mid-way down in the third stack from [...]
