This is Bohemian Babes by Michael Miller. I can’t decide which mini print I like best. The black was up next to my face today auditioning for a blouse. The composite print is very pretty–a vibrant, layered collage. I can totally see this as a quick skirt for a little girl, add a ruffle around the bottom and call it done.

Also added this week are Kona cotton swatch packs. 5″ squares of the colors available in the shop. They come pre-labeled with the color name. While packaging, I had the urge to just sit down and sew them all together. Going to the quilt show gave me the bug real bad.
Here’s a sneak peak of what I did in the record heat today. Stay tuned for a free pattern and kits available early next week:

Wonderful quilt, I’ll be looking for the kit. I am changing out my guest room from soft muted pinks and yellows with lots of new fabrics and a fresher look and this will be a fabulous addition.
Love the fabrics and the mix of them that you made in the quilt amazes me!
Great!
Love the quilt! Can’t wait for the pattern…
The quilt is beautiful. ~jen~
Was this quilt inspired by the Virtual Quilting Bee? I love your blocks, and I can’t wait to see the whole thing!
I am so amazed at what you can get done in one day. I look forward to a time when my little ones aren’t so little anymore just so I can do that same thing. Looking forward to the free pattern.
This is very cool, I think from some of the comments that the quilt looks like I created those blocks which is really the point of a cheater print, to create a fabulous looking project that looks more complicated than it is. It’s the Denyse Schmidt cheater print from County Fair. Several bolts are on their way to make these kits happen, Yippee! I’m really excited about how truly quick it was to put this together (not the design!) but the actual sewing once I figured out the design
I definitely like the black print best. I hope it aced the audition.
I love Michael Miller fabrics and I couldn’t choose which one I like best either, gorgeous quilt

oh i have that calendar–bought in Seattle too!! you’ve got good taste! I can’t wait to see what you do with the cheater cloth. I think I got too small of a piece at 1 yard, but can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Cannot wait! I LOVE this!
Great post nevertheless , I was wanting to know in the event you could write a litte much more on this topic? I’d be quite thankful in case you could elaborate a bit bit further. Bless you!
