Hi all - this is Chelsea from the picture! Kristin L is correct - I was thrilled to meet the Kathy at the show - she's a celebrity! After we meet and talked I wished I had of thought to go purchase another copy of the pattern that Kathy could have signed for me. I love the mail sack pattern - it was the first pattern I ever attempted with a zipper and the directions were the best. Keep up the good work Kathy! ;)

She (Chelsea) kinda looks like she's thinking, "Oh I hope Kathy doesn't think I'm too much of a whack job, but Oooo, oooh, oooh, I'm standing next to the lady that designed this totally cool bag!!"

I love the Ladder Day Saints quilt! Thanks for sharing it for those of us who keep being in places too remote to see the quilts in person.

Just ordered and received my mail sack pattern. FAST shipping. Love the postcard inside with quilt sizes. Can't wait to decide on my fabric and get started.

ah, beautiful pics!
I LOVE the green quilts you pictured... and I can totally understand that you asked the girl with the mailsack for a picture... I'd most likely do the same and my hubby would think I'm crazy. but I think that's perfectly normal (and her bag is COOL! her fabric choice could be mine ;) )

I don't blame you for being excited. I've been thinking for some time about selling the things I make and this week had two completely unexpected and completely unsolicted offers to buy things - one for 20 of a particular item! I am so excited, I have been walking on cloud 9 all week!

You needed that vintage fabric because if you hadn't purchased it, you would have regretted that for a while. I had no idea you were from Utah! The Ladder Day Saint quilt cracked me up! Currently I'm sitting in my living room in West Valley City.
