Australian sisters Rosalie Quinlan and Melanie Hurlston make up the Melly & me design team. I still remember the first time I came across their blog. So many happy designs, the kind that just make you smile. Fast forward a couple of years and boy have these gals been busy. I’m extremely excited to be carrying a wide selection of their handbag and softie patterns in the shop.

And the winner is… #14, Read R. Send me your snail mail and I’ll get the pattern off to you. I’m feeling very inspired by the pattern ideas, thank you to everyone that contributed the incredibly thoughtful comments!

I’m headed over to APNQ Quiltfest in a few minutes for the show. TOTALLY looking forward to meeting up with Sarah to enjoy the quilts and a grown up lunch. The kind where I only have to think about what I’d like to order vs. deciding what 3 people will eat. If you’re there and you recognize me from that goofy picture in the side bar be sure to say hi!

I am so excited that you will be carrying the Melly & Me patterns!!! Their work is truly incredible! I need to start my Christmas wish list now!
I love those AU designers’ patterns–thanks so much for bringing them to my attention. Now, to find a little extra money & time to get on with making them.
Kathy, I am so excited to see my name drawn! I have to admit – I very rarely comment, but something in your post just grabbed me and before my lunch was over, I had the comment composed and the link dug up. Thanks for your generosity and the continued inspiration.
I love Magoo the Monkey. I’ll definitely have to head on over to the shop and get me a pattern, or three!
Been away for awhile. Happy to be reading your blog again, no computer access.
I love the patterns. Going to have to get myself together and get some!
YIPPEEEEEEEE, glad to be with you!!
Congrats on your table runner being on the cover of the Quilting Arts Gift issue!!!
I love Melly & Me patterns. They’re hard to find in the US actually. I will order some from you, but I have to save a little money first. Last week was just one of those weeks where I spent too much. I’ll skip the lattes for the week so I can spend the $ on a pattern next week. Hooray!
These are great. I love your blog!
