Podcast

Adrienne of Real Life: Live & Unscripted invited me to do one of her podcasts last month. Nothing more weird than listening to your own voice on tape! I love this gal and ALL the amazing things she creates. Very fun to chat with her on the phone live. You can listen to the interview here.

The power went out just after she called and my cordless phone somehow continued to work so we went forward with the interview. It was the first day of December, our first snow too, and I snapped this shot of the girls for our Christmas card.

Heidi, that gave me a great laugh! They noticed at my ASG meeting too. The Sew Expo also has the photo on their website. Leil was off school that day so she went along. She was so cute because she insisted on helping my friend and I carry all our loot!

Great picture and great interview! You sound just as you do in your writing – so positive and supportive and upbeat… wonderful qualities! Like you, I started sewing with needle & thread when I was a few years old… my mother and grandmother are the sewers in my family. I was amazed that you have only been quilting for 3 years. I’ve been quilting for 20 and your work is so beautiful.

What a wonderful photo! So natural, which to me is the hallmark of a great holiday shot. (Cute kids and gently falling snow don’t hurt, either. lol)

Georgia: It’s pronounced “Layl”, rhymes with veil.
