Rubblework Class
Nov 20th, 2007 by Kathy

I’ll be teaching the Rubblework Scarf at Esther’s on Saturday, December 8th from 10 am to 1 pm. I dropped off a sample at the shop today. These are perfect for gifts and quick to make. A great project for new sewers.
Related to my last post on knitting, I got more than a few comments asking what I did. I’ll be responding soon with more details on how I changed my technique to get the gauge tamed. I had lots of time to practice on our trip to California and I’m pretty darn excited about it!
I also had two wonderful things waiting for me at the post office today. This will be a week of show and tell.

This one looks great too Kathy! The possibilities with fabrics are numerous!
that b&w version with the hint of the red poppy is GORGEOUS! this totally would be my fabric choice ^-^
I already have (colorful) fabrics laid out for christmas scarves for my friends & family, you really saved my life with this pattern…!
maybe after christmas I will find the time to make one for myself, too. *g* isn’t it amazing that christmas seems to come near faster and faster every year?
Another wonderful scarf! This is a terrific pattern…I can’t wait to try it, and make one for my mother for Christmas! I just need some “wow” fabric for the large squares, which I hope to get this weekend. Looking forward to your knitting up date. Happy Days

Moe gorgeous fabric selection.
You have such a wonderful knack for putting fabrics together. Have fun teaching the class. One day I’ll have to attend one of your classes.
I really like this one! But then again, I can’t say that I have ever seen anything of yours that I didn’t like.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family Kathy!
Beautiful! Your fabric combinations are always awesome. Would you consider sharing your “process” for putting fabrics together? Thanks again for a great blog!
I like this one a lot! That delicate black on white is wonderful.
I made this scarf as a last minute birthday gift for my cousin. It was fast, fun, & easy. AND it turned out great. I can’t wait to make more!
love your scarf!! the splash of red poppies is fantastic, good luck with the class!
I am having so much fun with this pattern! The instructions are perfect, and the results are great. Do you have a flickr page or something similar so people can post their versions of your scarf? I’d love to see what other people have come up with! (Also, I can’t post mine on my blog yet…they’re for Christmas gifts!)
