Ladies’ Fingers, a recipe by Martha Stewart. I make them every year and we eat them all.

A young Jaina Solo. I made this for Caitlin two years ago. Simplicity 4426. I’m scheming on how to alter the linen kimono jacket for myself.

Caitlin stayed home. Too much of a ‘tween to want to dress up. Boo hoo for me. She carved a spectacular pumpkin and ate Leil’s candy.

She looks great, and so do the pumpkin and fingers.
WOW! that pumpkin is awesome!
Oh my, that pumpkin looks spectacular indeed!
Your daughter actually carved that pumpkin by herself?? WOW… that is a contest entry! What talent!!
Joni
Wow, the pumpkin looks fab. Such talent.
Wow!! Your daughter carved that Pumpkin? She’s amazingly talented!! Looks like you had a happy Halloween:)
That pumpkin is awesome! She did a great job.
I like the costume. Seems like there are a lot of Jedi this year. Makes me wish I had dressed up
Oh boohoo indeed. So fast, so fast. But she definitely has a talent for pumpkin carving – it is stellar!
Those fingers look yummy! Now who thought I’d ever get to say that? Cute costume! The not-dressing-up thing is a tween phase. My teenager is back to dressing up, although it’s more for hanging out with other dressed-up friends than trick-or-treating (which I don’t really approve of for teenagers).
WOw, fab pumpkin. My DD1 did her first fancy carving this year (katelnorth.blogspot.com), but it’s not a patch on that one. Of course, she’s only 10, perhaps your DD is a little older & more experienced!
Can you do that with a pumpkin. Wow.
Your daughter felt too old to dress up this year? She’s a baby compared to the 40-year-olds trick or treating in my neighborhood! Looks like you had fun though.
Wow, that is an amazing pumpkin! And cool sotume! Exclamation points all round!
