Necklace by Lisa Leonard
Aug 16th, 2007 by Kathy

I received this stunning piece of art from Lisa Leonard on Tuesday. I’ve worn it non-stop. Each time the Quilting Arts challenge was determined to kick my booty I looked down, smiled, and kept beading.
I like single words. I can appreciate sayings. Like whole sentence types of stuff. But I REALLY like the one word thing. I can infuse it with my own meaning. Say it under my breath. Give it life.
Lisa got this. I seem to keep getting the better end of this swap thing.
Lisa makes an entire line of beautiful jewelry so go pick out a piece and support an absolutely delightful indie designer. No fears, I’m not getting a cut. I just LOVE my new necklace. Thank you Lisa!
ps as I was reviewing my words before publishing this post, the reflection on the pearl really caught my eye. I went back to Photoshop and enlarged it and sure enough, it’s me and my camera mounted on a tri-pod. Yes, CREATE!

I noticed her jewelry on a post somewhere else this week….it is really cool. The reflection is awesome:)
That is a gorgeous necklace. Lucky you!
That necklace is beautiful!!!!!!!! Did you get my email?
So nice and it really looks like your style. I bet it’s beautiful around your neck.
Very cool!
Hi Kathy, yes, beautiful necklace.
By the way, I received my pattern for the NoteTaker and have already made one. I talked about it on my blog today. Thanks for the wonderful pattern. Also, a special thanks for the measurements for the interfacing. It made it so easy to cut the pieces out instead of having to fold the pattern pieces back. It’s the little things that save time. Thanks again.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and leaving such a nice comment about my purse. I love the one word quotes too. I used to really be into scrapbooking, and it seems I hardly did a page without a “word” on it. They are powerful, and really helped get my meaning across. Keep wearing that necklace, because you inspire the rest of us too! Cool about the pearl reflection. Photography is another passion of mine. It’s too fun to see a great reflection in catchlights too!
I just got one of her necklaces for my birthday. I got the dog-tag looking one with my kids names. And a pair of earings. I first saw her stuff on Wise Craft’s blog.
Wow. That is NICE!
Beautiful! I love it and I can see where it would really help you out at just the right moment. I am also a fan of the one word.
How gorgeous is THAT? oooo…
SOOOOO pretty!
