A fun weekend at Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. It was cloudy and chilly. I can’t think of a better reason to sport the Chevron Scarf in August. The hotel had these incredible shower heads that are so fabulous they stock them in the lobby for guests to purchase. I found the manufacturer online when I got home.

Looks wonderful! We spent a few days there over the 4th of July at my grandma’s beach cabin. Your photo made me ready to head right back.
Maybe I need to move..it’s 96 and 76% humidity here. Ugg!
Oh Im JEALOUS….Beach+Chilly= Jealous Adrienne! LOL Glad you had a good time!
Yeah I’m jealous too!
Thanks for the great collection of links.
Fun! I miss Cannon Beach. We didn’t go this year. You didn’t stay at the Inn at Cannon Beach, did you? We always stay there and they sell their amazing shower heads in the lobby, so this sounds familiar…
We stayed at The Ocean Lodge which is managed by the same company that does Inn at Cannon Beach. Sounds like they have the same fabulous shower heads!
You made my whole day! So glad you found something inspiring.
Now we’re even.
ah, the beach!
i hope to get to the northern shore in september, making some loooong and “windy” walks…
Wow! Looks like fun!! I need some time at the beach too.
Dear Kathy, I love your blog. I’d like to add it to my list of favorites.

Hi Kathy,
I was looking in my stats tonight and saw that I had 462 visitors today, my usual average is about 30, so I just about fell on the floor. Then I saw that they were all coming from your site and saw the link you put to my baby quilt! The quilts that you make are such an inspiration to me, so I am really flattered that you liked my quilt. Thank you!
Thanks for the tut. list. I love the mile-a-minute squares. Scrap quilts are always my favorites!
