That is beautiful. Have a wonderful time. We all need blogging and e-mail breaks… I’ll be taking one in September :)

Reminds me of one of my favorite commercial slogan from growing up, “fresh as a Missouri morning.” Of course, it helps that it’s for a dairy which produces excellent ice cream, and nothing could be better than ice cream in the morning! Enjoy Missouri. I’ll be doing my vacation there soon to visit my own family.

Also wanted to thank you for the tip on the quilt binding with hair clips. You inspired me to sit down last night and give it a try. I’ll be taking that one to all my Missouri quilting friends in a few weeks!

Love the picture… although it is in Missouri, it could be taken in my Iowa back yard!

This photo is inspiration for a landscape quilt! May I?
    Enjoy your vacation!

I’m back and had a great break! I grew up in Ironton, MO and graduated from Arcadia Valley High School. My parents still live there and I love going back to visit. I think it’s one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Thank you so much for the Wavy Seam Tutorial. I loved it. Here is a link to a bag I am working on, where I used the tutorial.
