What a wonderful sight (well, as long as they don't eat your garden as you say) and wonderful photos! Wonderful colors and so crisp!

Beautiful photographs and beautiful babies. We only have to contend with the bunnies in our garden.
Hope your fig tree survives.

What wonderful photos - aren't the deer gorgeous! Brian (Noreen's husband) is trying to take photos of the deer that wander across the higher ground on their farm on the edge of the Peak District (it's one of the UK's national parks)...but has had no luck yet. We will post them on our blog soon hopefully. Also love your patchwork. We are making some simple patchwork cushions at the moment. Hope you are able to visit us at www.thehomelyyear.blog.co.uk

Lovely!
We have the deer (big and small) too... and I love having them (even at the loss of a few plants). Great photos!

If they weren't so dang destructive to gardens and plants I'd think they were a whole lot cuter. But the pictures are amazing and the sunlight was just perfect for those pictures.

I used a 200mm lens. I missed them the day before so I was excited they came back at the same time the next day, my camera still had the telephoto lens on it so I was ready to fly out of the house as soon as I spotted them.
