Beautiful photographs. I love deer! We have a little family of deer in our neighborhood, but I have yet to photograph them…maybe this year! Have a lovely weekend!
How very lovely. We see deer every so often, but because it’s so developed over here, it’s a rare sight. Good luck with the fig tree. We planted one two years ago and consistently get one fig a year. Very useful!
We saw a couple of these a few weeks ago and I was too slow in getting out my camera. Now whenever we go by that field Katrina asks if I have my camera ready this time!
I used a 200mm lens. I missed them the day before so I was excited they came back at the same time the next day, my camera still had the telephoto lens on it so I was ready to fly out of the house as soon as I spotted them.
If they weren’t so dang destructive to gardens and plants I’d think they were a whole lot cuter. But the pictures are amazing and the sunlight was just perfect for those pictures.
What wonderful photos – aren’t the deer gorgeous! Brian (Noreen’s husband) is trying to take photos of the deer that wander across the higher ground on their farm on the edge of the Peak District (it’s one of the UK’s national parks)…but has had no luck yet. We will post them on our blog soon hopefully. Also love your patchwork. We are making some simple patchwork cushions at the moment. Great pics, so amazing that they come so close!

They’re beautiful; so red-colored and soft-looking. Your photos capture their slightly intimidating size and giant eyes well.
Beautiful!
Wow, they’re so beautiful!
Glad they didn’t denude your new tree!
Wow, great shots. What kind of lens did you use? I occasionally have deer come to my yard, but I usually scare them off before I get a clear shot.

Great photos!!!! I’ve only seen deer that close ONCE! I was helping my sister in laws put up Christmas lights outside about 3am!!! LOL
Wonderful Photos.
Such sweet babes!

Lovely!
We have the deer (big and small) too… and I love having them (even at the loss of a few plants). Great photos!

Beautiful photographs and beautiful babies. We only have to contend with the bunnies in our garden.
Hope your fig tree survives.
What a wonderful sight (well, as long as they don’t eat your garden as you say) and wonderful photos! Wonderful colors and so crisp!
Oh Wow!
That’s a sight you wouldn’t get in my neighborhood in London. Gosh you’re so lucky
They are so beautiful, do they ever let you get up close to them ?
