Finally! The never-ending school year actually came to a close on Friday. I’m a true homebody. I’m already scheming on buying enough food for a week’s worth of meals so I don’t have to get in my car and go anywhere for days. Just sewing and listening to my kids say ‘Mom, I’m bored!” True bliss.

A little work in progress. OK, Marci, don’t have a heart attack, I’ve actually begun work on our swap.

lol, sounds wonderful!
I don’t know what you’re swapping but it looks great!
If that’s my table runner…the fabrics are perfect! I love it already! I need to get cracking on your things now.
Kathy, Our winter two week holidays start next week so your comment of “I’m bored” will also be heard in my house. I won’t be able to sew though, I will be working….. Movies on Tuesday as we call it “Cheap Skate Tuesday” cheaper tickets on Tuesday.
Happy holidays and envy you not getting into your car for a week.
happy hot summer
hope you really don’t need to get in your car and have loooots of time for sewing!
Yay! I love summer too! And I did buy a week’s worth of groceries yesterday. BHG had 5 easy grilling recipes and that’s what we’re doing this week – grilling every night.
Wow, show us the finished work of art! Looks lovely! I love everything on your blog!!!
School has been out here since June 5th. I have been in bliss for weeks now, I think I am up to time 2000 I’m bored. And like you I am a home body, I also prefer to stay home and not have to go out, sewing the day away.
Heres to a blissful summer!!!!!
Sounds wonderful!

It was nice to meet my cousin for the first time and I really like the notepad. Val
