School’s Out

Finally! The never-ending school year actually came to a close on Friday. I’m a true homebody. I’m already scheming on buying enough food for a week’s worth of meals so I don’t have to get in my car and go anywhere for days. Just sewing and listening to my kids say ‘Mom, I’m bored!” True bliss.

A little work in progress. OK, Marci, don’t have a heart attack, I’ve actually begun work on our swap.

Kathy, Our winter two week holidays start next week so your comment of “I’m bored” will also be heard in my house. I won’t be able to sew though, I will be working….. Movies on Tuesday as we call it “Cheap Skate Tuesday” cheaper tickets on Tuesday.
Happy holidays and envy you not getting into your car for a week.

Yay! I love summer too! And I did buy a week’s worth of groceries yesterday. BHG had 5 easy grilling recipes and that’s what we’re doing this week – grilling every night.

School has been out here since June 5th. I have been in bliss for weeks now, I think I am up to time 2000 I’m bored. And like you I am a home body, I also prefer to stay home and not have to go out, sewing the day away.
    Heres to a blissful summer!!!!!
