Websites are a lot harder than they look. So are photo shoots, graphic design, Paypal buttons, mailing lists, printing and selling. I think it’s cool that an ordinary gal can do this. Technology equals freedom to pursue our dreams.
A HUGE hug and thank you to my testers. Honest, professional, thoughtful, generous, funny. Their feedback made the pattern better than I ever. Candy, Anina, Linda, Leslie and Sally. Not only can these girls sew, they sew really well, they write really well, and they know what they want from a pattern.
The journey to get here has been a bit more winding than planned. The kids learned to make their own toast and heat Annie Chun’s noodles in the microwave. No one is worse off for missing a few baths and wearing a pair of jeans twice. Mommy feels good about accomplishing something for herself. And, as we all know, when mommy’s happy the family’s happy.
Congratulations! Yes, there is a lot of hard work involved, but it’s rewarding work.

It looks great, Kathy – the cover, the shop, everything! My machine is in the shop this week and I’ve been trying to “beef up” the patterns I already have. Lots of work! And a sore wrist from all the mousing! Congratulations. I’m glad it’s done.
