Thanks for all the great recommendations on what to do with my PVC legs. I opted for the very simple solution of brown Krylon paint made especially for plastic. This stuff dries in an hour! Right up my alley. As soon as I was done I was looking around for anything plastic that might need a good spray. Totally amazing paint.
I must be channeling Monk these days because anything slightly out of order around here is grabbing my eye. Of course, learning to be proficient with the Illustrator Pen Tool would drive anyone to diversion.
I spent an evening with Flickr and created Collections to re-organize my sets. It was fun just looking back on my year.
Next stop on the OCD train: blog links. Maybe not such a good idea. I spun my wheels trying to figure out exactly who went in what category and what to even name the category. The result: some long winded titles. I found a few missing items like Purl. I visit that site religiously. I’m sure there’s other embarrassing omissions but I’m unwilling to throw in the towel just yet, links are just so bloggy.
The sun’s shining, I’m making progress on my pattern and I finished my Chevron scarf last night, life is good. Have a great week!

I may need to get a pro account on Flickr soon. It seems like there are so many organizational options…
Love the chevron scarf! Don’t you just love that book? Mine had to go back to the library. I’ll have to put it on hold again.
I sure could use a little of your OCD!! I’m very impressed and inspired by everything you are working on right now, Kathy! The new blog template looks great – love the knee patches and the 3-tier skirt – maybe I will even add PVC legs to my banquet table.
I bet you can’t even tell those pipes are add ons when you walk into that room. Off to check out your reorganized flickr, I just did the same thing last week.
Finished?!? That was fast.
I’m starting to really wish I lived somewhere permanent–read: owned–so I could do stuff. It takes me so long to figure out what to do with spaces that I really need to be there 18 months first, then another several years to make it worth it!
My OCD came glaring out when I organized my room and bought my very own little label maker! Yikes I think I’ve labeled everything but the cats! The PVC turned out perfect. Can’t wait to see the finished scarf!
Are these PVC legs still working out for you? No wobbles? It’s a pretty genius idea and I think it might be just the solution for my studio.
