Cute Skirts
Apr 25th, 2007 by Kathy
Cute, cute, cute. That’s all I can think when I see these skirts. Leil wore the Asian print on Monday, Pink on Tuesday and Orange today. She likes them. I used the 3 Peas Tiered Skirt tutorial as a guide. I was short on having enough of some of the fabrics I wanted to use and just made some tiers longer and/or shorter to get the length I wanted. Ha, I started to write I was ’short on fabric’ which would clearly be an understatement around here.

Darling! I love all three!
Very cute! Your daughter and the skirts!! LOL!!
Love them!!
You picked some great combinations.
Very cute! Chloe made herself one of those last year and just loves it. The fabrics you chose are wonderful!
Kathy, those are fabulous!!
I love the sneakers with the skirt. Perfect combination.
Love it! I hope she’s appropriately grateful.
I haven’t really braved apparel yet! LOL… I’m sticking to teaching myself to sew valances and couch pillows! I *may* just be brave enough to try this though! What have I got to loose!
Thank you so much for the link to the great tutorial!
Tiffany
Great skirts! I love the fabric combos. I made Katja a paltry ONE with the tutorial. It’s great though — easy, comfortable and CUTE!!!!
She’s so cute! I love all three too. I have been wondering where I saw that tiered skirt lesson… thank you!
yes, you’ve chosen the right title: CUTE!
i love the one with the black and white polka dots and the pear fabric, it looks gorgeous on your little model!
They are so so cute! I love the dusky pink one with the green. What a cool mum you are - making such great clothes for your kids!
Those turned out great. I wanted to make a couple a few months ago, but *could not* decide on the tier combinations. Shelf after shelf filled with fabric, but no three that go together? How could that be?!
My daughter would LOVE those skirts! Very nice!
Okay, I can only think of one word to describe both the skirts and Leil .. adorable!
those are so cute and thanks for the link. i got the sew what book for skirts and intended to make those for my girls…good to have some other ideas…and thanks for the ASG info….just what i need!
can’t wait for your patterns, i LOVE the logo, very nice.
Lovely skirts! And thanks for linking to the tutorial, I was trying so hard to remember 3 peas’ original one.
Really cute! I love your color combinations!
Fantastic!
I would love a couple of these for summer myself!
oh why oh why did I give birth to three boys? how many wasted opportunities…
These are sooo cute, Kathy! I love the fabric combinations. I bet the girls love them. Your new blog look is great
