OK, I’m really bad. I meant to get this post up last Thursday when the auction for this gorgeous charity quilt began. Jessica at Seedpod organized a Denyse Schmidt Blockswap one year ago this month. She used one block from each participant to create this charity quilt. There are only 18 hours before the auction closes…get your booty on over to eBay!
Here’s a look at the blocks I created for the swap last year.
Gina at QuiltersBuzz generously donated the quilting. Some more fab photos of the quilting and the back:

Heifer International is a great organization, an especially good one for women. The quilt is lovely.
that is exquisite! all of it!
Oh, Kathy! What a beautiful quilt! It probably feels so neat to have been a part of it’s making.
How gorgeous–and while I’m sad it’s out of my price range, I’m also really happy it’s out of my price range, since that means more $ for Heifer, which really is a great organization.
Gorgeous quilt. How wonderful to be a part of beautiful art and a worthy cause.
That is beautiful… I wish I had a few more pennies in my bank account so I could afford to bid on it…
how beautiful, and it is doing so well over there at ebay, congratulations on such a wonderful project.
Very stylish and cute!
Such a wonderful and inspiring quilt! I’m just at the beginning of quilt-making and this is one, which is very motivating! Thank you for the great photos!!
Just lovely!!!
That is a gorgeous quilt! I was thinking of putting together a NW meetup for craft bloggers. If you’re interested, send me an email or drop by my blog and leave a comment so I have your contact info.
