Linda from Craft Apple sent me an e-mail last month asking what I thought of her making a pattern for her seamstress apron. I answered back saying I thought it was a fantastic idea. A lot of us think about taking our designs and developing a pattern. I have several full sketch books to prove it. Linda had the pattern drafted within a week! It was published in her Etsy Shop the following week. This woman leaves us all in the dust. I tested the pattern for her (result above) and it sewed like a dream. Sometimes it’s nice to just make a pattern. No figuring out this or that. Just pick fabrics, follow directions, perfect fit, project done. This was super easy and I like Linda’s angled pocket design, very functional. Way to go Linda!

Cute and very practical … I’ll have to buy that pattern.
WAY COOL!! You did a great job and the colors are GEORGOUS!
Lovely apron. I totally agree with you about sometimes needing a project where you do’t have to think. I picked up an apron kit at the last quilt festival I went to, and thought, “I could totally make this out of stuff I already have.” But why?
Adorable!!
Love the fabrics you chose!
Ohhh cute, cute, cute. great fabric choice !!! Clarice
a useful apron, and very beautiful!
aprons are very up-to-date, so no need to hide it in the house or the sewing room
Very cute and your sewing is exceptional…as usual!
Hey, I made some, too! It was an exceptionally easy pattern to follow, and I was so happy with the first one that I made a second for a friend.
Excellent fabric combo, by the way.
Love your choices of fabric, although I guess I always love your choices in fabric. Looks lovely.
That is wonderfuul and so beautifully modelled.
Gorgeous combination of fabric!

I agree with the rest, the pattern is exceptional and the fabric combination is really attractive. Love it!
what a great apron! and I love your blog – I can’t believe I just discovered it today (via Denyse Schmidt via Quiltersbuzz, I think). I’ll be reading often!
