Patti asked her readers to post about why they quilt. Here’s mine. Check out her entire site, she writes in amazing detail about her quilting process, a wonderful resource.

A perfect reason! Such a sweet sleeping child!
Wonderful picture!
What a marvelous picture! Is this someone you know with a quilt you made?
Thanks so much for your sweet words about me!
What a great picture. Sleeping under a quilt is the best, especially one that was made just for you.
To answer Patti, that’s Leil under the quilt I made for her. I’d been thinking about Patti’s post for awhile. When I walked by Leil’s room this morning I snapped this picture. It definitely summed it up for me.
Beautiful - definitely reason enough.
Esp. nice after the thoughtful post from yesterday.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
Oh, my gosh, I love that picture. That is the exact reason I quilt, too. I have three little girls to keep warm and wrapped in beautiful love!
Amazing photo!
