The lavender is in full bloom here in the Northwest. I’m lucky to have 3 very large plants in my front yard. I battled the bees yesterday and harvested some to make these lavender wands. The Purple Haze Lavender Farm in Sequim Washington has a how to on their website.

Love lavender. Love Purple Haze. Love Sequim. Wish we were there already.
so nice! once i had one of these that was gifted to me- nice to see how they’re made!
what a wonderful idea
You brave, brave woman. I am so scared of anything that stings! The wands are pretty. What are they for?
Love lavender, and I have never seen this done before!! Too cool!!
Ahhh Purple Haze. I need more ice cream. Keep cool. Clarice
I have four pathetic little plants but hopefully one day I’ll be able to have a crop to harvest. These are beautiful wands you made. Hopefully when we return this Saturday to Washington we can still pick up some lavender. We love it down here but we certainly miss the island.
How excellent.
loving it! It´s that season here as well and I have a huge lavender bush right outside my kitchen window that generally has around 100 bumble bees buzzing in and out at one time but they are gentle creatures so I think I need to venture out there saturday morning with my early cup of coffee and try to do what you did. I´m sure they won´t look as great but I´m still excited!!!
loving those lavender wands….loving that lavender…here in Michigan we have Gabriel’s Garden Lavender Boutique….the heavenly scent of lavender drifts down the sidewalk before I even get to the shop, makes me breahte deeply and say aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. This ‘lavender life’ is so addicting!!!
Ah!!! At last I discovered what I was in search of. Somtimes it takes so much effort to find even a small useful piece of data.
Merely wanna comment on few general things, The website pattern is perfect, the subject material is really fantastic : D.
