I LOVED that game as a kid. I still love that game. The wishbone is my favorite part to remove. Getting zapped still makes me jump. It came to mind as I got out the small set of screw drivers and went to work taking apart my camera lens. I took the outer ring off which revealed a set of cogs that are controlled by grooves on the ring. After taking it off and figuring out how it worked I assumed the problem was on the inside of the lens. To my great surprise when it I put it all back together it worked again! Sort of, I can still hear something rattling inside and the manual focus is not quite as smooth as before but the auto focus is working again. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for now. I was able to take this photo in my sewing room with no flash. Yippppeee.
I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed by my to do list as the end of the school year comes around. I’ve committed to doing a wall hanging for Leil’s teacher, I need to finish and mail my Back Tack III project, I’m taking a hand piecing class at Esther’s and I’ve been throwing in a few wrenches like Whiplash and Caitlin’s concert skirt. To feel a bit more organized I put away all the fabric piles that were beginning to form on the sewing room floor and I hung on the wall this super cool shelf like basket thing that has been waiting for my attention since I found it last month. I have absolutely no idea what its actual intended use is but when I saw it I thought it would work great as something to store my rulers on. Yay, I just love it.
I also love these little screws that I discovered for hanging things on drywall (I also love that they gave me a great reason to take a picture using that lovely paper I found).

Oooooh ….. what great fabrics! I’m thrilled with them!
Those screws look pretty nifty too … with a built-in molly. And I like the basket idea for storing your rulers. One of my projects/goals this year is to completely organize my craft/design room. I’ll have to keep that idea in mind.
Glad you were able to get your camera working again.
I love Operation too! But I broke mine the first day I got it … waaaah.
Your shelf looks lovely and I am looking forward to seeing that backtack object revealed some day too. I bet it will be lovely, as always!
I’m just now getting around to checking out all the Whiplash entries & saw your beautiful pencil roll! I love it. And then I had to keep digging through your blog b/c you have so many beautiful creations! Love the bag you made your mom, the notebook cover is divine…everything’s fantastic! I wish I could sew!!!
