Blockswap Comes Full Circle

I opened my mailbox yesterday and immediately spied and tore open the package containing this lovely set of nine blocks. I had a blast creating mine and experienced absolute delight in receiving these beauties. A special thank you to the creative ladies whose blocks I now own (left to right, top to bottom): Dayna at The Crafty Scientist, Dani, Carly at Knit, Lola, Knit, Linda at Linda Rogers Fiber Art, Jessica at Ruched, Barbara, Evy Jacob, and Nicole Ray. I’m missing a tag on block nine and would love to know the maker. It’s the block in the lower right hand corner of the picture that uses curry and reproduction fabrics. updated 5/18/06 – Thanks Jess, the last block is from Jenne at Lixolux.
There’s a great creative energy emanating from the stack of blocks, I predict it will be even more powerful once it’s pieced, quilted and hung on my studio wall. Fun, fun, fun. A huge thanks to Jess at Seedpod.

Wow!! Each one of these is a fabulous work of art! And together–amazing. What a beautiful quilt they will make. I’m not a quilter, but I LOVE the idea of a block swap. I soooo desperately want to do one of these now!!!
