I completed all 3 of my commission notepad covers. This the first time I’ve done this arrangement. I had so much fun picking fabrics, stitching them with skill and pride, precisely placing beads and mulling whether it all worked in the end. I imagined the recipient based on the requirements I had been given. I visualized her using this handmade item in her daily routines. I felt great satisfaction in the whole process. I was nervous to hand them over, judgement time from the commissioner. She loved them and was excited to be visiting her friends with these gifts in hand. I excitedly tucked my first commission check into my wallet. You can see more picture details here.
