Yipppeee! I’m in Back-Tack III. I hadn’t received anything from Alison and Nicole and was starting to sweat. Other bloggers were talking about how they’d received an e-mail already. Once they announced on their site that the e-mails had gone out I was really disappointed because my mailbox was empty. I sent a follow up to them and they responded so quickly. Thanks Ladies! My e-mail had a typo in it so I was in and just didn’t know it.
All’s well that ends well. I’m going to be creating for Tami at Lemon Tree Tales. It’s been fun to read a new blog while thinking about creating something just for that person. An element of participating in this exchange that hadn’t occurred to me. As inspiration I’ve pulled out all the black and white fabric in my stash (OK, there’s a couple new ones in there too):
I want look at them while I finish my Mystery Quilt for Esther’s (due tomorrow). I already have lots of ideas swirling. Taking a theme and going with it, too much fun.
I also know the person creating for me. Her name is Marci Senders. Jackpot! Pay the winner. (Las Vegas slot machine winning sounds going off in the background). Her creative crochet is right up my alley. She has a great sense of humor running through all the art I’ve seen on her site. I’m a very lucky girl.
