Welcome!

Pink Chalk Studio is me, Kathy Mack. I love sewing and I love teaching others to sew. I live on Bainbridge Island, Washington with my two beautiful daughters, a husband who supports all my wacky ideas, a beloved cat, and one very affectionate leopard gecko.

Pink Chalk Studio is where I dream and create beautiful things. It sits right smack in the middle of the chaos of family life, inspiring me to add color and artful design to our everyday living.

I believe a sewing pattern should be well written, easy to follow, and fun to sew. I'm ecstatic to be offering the Everyday Art Pattern Collection, a line of original designs that incorporate these qualities of excellence. I hope you have fun creating them for yourself and your friends.
